Representative Team Selections

Congratulations to all our Newport athletes who have been selected for state representative teams.

Jodie Louw (U14) and Joel Piper (U14) have been selected as part of the NSW team for the inaugural Youth Pathway Cup being held at Freshwater Beach on Australia Day. The Cup is Surf Life Saving’s newest representative competition showcasing the skills of the U14 and U15 age groups.

Seven of Newport’s best have been selected in the NSW team for the 2018 Interstate Championships to be held in Adelaide on Friday 21 January. Max Brooks, Blake Drysdale, Jake Lynch, Mitchell Trim and Laura Shorter will compete in the Opens, while Isaac Smith and Grace Curr will form part of the Youth Team.
