On Sunday June 17 at Dee Why Beach, The Northern Beaches Council filmed a short video on Waste Reduction. The video will address our need to reduce our use of single-use plastics.
The aim of the short film is:
- To give an understanding of their impact on the beach and the ocean including the role rubbish plays in the beach and ocean environment;
- What we can do to minimise the impact on ocean health; and
- How our action away from the beach still affects the ocean and its animals.
The video will be shown in local schools and to Nipper groups.
