Newport ADF Veterans and Active Members, Your Surf Life Saving Club Would Like to Support You

Newport Surf Life Saving Club is a proud supporter of Soldier On – a support organisation for returning veterans.   In October, we will be hosting a familiarisation night at Newport Surf Club and ultimately invite 5 veterans or current active members of the Australian Defence Force to complete their Bronze Medallion training from beach patrols, to rescue services and safety education.

Our veterans and members of the armed forces have served their country in a national security capacity and sometimes are impacted adversely.  We may not fully be able to grasp the challenges that these neighbours of ours have experience in the line of duty.  However, there is something very important we can offer and this is mateship through our Surf Club.   More information will be available on the night.
