Good luck to all of our competitors.

Fletcher Davies didn’t know what he was letting himself in for when he made a promise to his mate Max Brooks over a few drinks. That promise was to do the Coolangatta Gold individual long course – a distance of 41.8km. And it’s getting closer to the date (October 8).
”I’ll get it done. It won’t be too quick though,” Fletcher said.
Fletcher said he has been working out now for about 12 weeks for the event, which includes a 23km ski paddle, run 2.1km, swim 3.5km, board 6.1km and run 7.1km.
”Max and I started swimming a bit earlier. He was helping me out at the pool,” Fletcher said. Fletcher has no doubts that his three Newport club mates Jackson Borg, Georgia Miller (female elite) and Max Brooks will ”kill it”.
