Congratulations to Kristie Edwards who has been named in the Australian Athletics Team

Kristie will compete later this month at the IAAF World Championships in Qatar.

Kristie started as a Newport Nipper in the Under 6s and is a current patrolling member. Kristie has also had success as a beach competitor for Newport winning a double Gold in Flags and Beach sprinting in U15s in 2015. She went on to win Silver in Sprints in both the 2016 & 2017 Australian Championships, as well as Bronze in Beach relay and Gold in the Lifesaver relay in 2016.
