About Membership...
Nippers & Under 19s $55
The Nippers commenced this season on 4 October.
Children must already be 5 years old before they can commence Nippers. Proof of age (Birth Certificate, Passport etc) must be shown with all first time Nipper registrations.
The cost per child is $55. We require that a parent join from each family. Parents can join as an Associate Member; an Active Senior (if they already have a SLSA bronze medallion and are willing to take part in patrols); or as an Active Senior if they wish to take part in training to achieve their Bronze Medallion.
Nippers who have previously been members of Newport SLSC do not need to show proof of age.
Parents can choose to renew the memberships of such children using the online facility. Please note that if the online facility is used the club still needs to receive copies of completed membership application forms. This is a SLSA requirement.

Active (patrolling) Members $65 ($5 discount if paid before 30/9/09)
Active Reserve Members (Over 27 years of age and have completed eight years of continuous Patrol duty, or at the Committee's discretion) $65
Long Service Members (Appointed from Active Reserve, or at the Committee's discretion. Application for this category must be made in writing and applicant must have completed ten (or more) years of continuous patrol duty) $65 ($5 discount if paid before 30/9/09)
Associate/Social Members $85
Life Members nil

Bronze medallion training costs $210 which covers the cost of training materials and 2 years Active Senior membership. We don't need to see proof of age documentation for any adults who register. Bronze medallion training will commence on 18 October.
When registering in person you can pay with cash, cheque or credit card (Visa and Mastercard).
Those who are unable to register in person can complete membership application forms and mail them with a cheque and copies of proof of age (first time Nippers only) to Newport SLSC, PO Box 57, Newport NSW 2106.
