Wet weather Patrol Jackets
Jackets suitable for wearing on patrol during inclement weather are now available. These jackets are an optional addition to your patrol uniform.
Delivery is usually less than 10 days.
Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL

Some transferring members may not be listed – they should contact me.
Some past members who are not financial (for two years) are not listed, they should fill in a membership form and pay through one of the methods provided.

Free Wheeler Information
A Beach Free Wheeler allows access to the sand and water's edge for people who use wheelchairs or find it difficult to negotiate the beachfront. This is available at no cost on weekends at Newport Beach. Contact the volunteer lifesavers at the Patrol tent to obtain it's use.
Courses and Training
Bronze Medallion Training begins 31 January 2010
Thereafter Tuesday evenings 7-9pm and Sundays 11-1pm for 8 to 10 weeks. You must be able to complete a pool swim of 400m in less than 9 minutes to commence training and be over 15 years of age on the date of assessment.Pre-registration, enrolment and payment is required. Enrolments close on Sunday 24th of January.Cost:
New members 18 years and over: $210
(includes two year membership, course materials and club cap)
New members 15 to 18 years: $190
(includes two year membership, course materials and club cap)
Current Cadet members: $50
(includes course materials and club cap)

IRB Training
IRB Crew is for everyone who has their bronze and is conducted every Sunday morning at 8.30am.
IRB Drivers need to already have their IRB Crew and 10 hours experience logged on this form prior to starting training. The driver also needs to complete this workbook one prior to training.
Please print off and complete this training enrolment form and bring it to the first training session.
IRB Crew Pre-requisites:
- A candidate must be a minimum of 15 years of age
- Hold a current SLSA Bronze Medallion/Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) prior to starting training for this award.
IRB Driver Pre-requisites:

A candidate must be a minimum of 16 year to commence training and a minimum of 17 years of age on the date of final assessment

Hold a current SLSA Bronze Medallion/Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue)

Hold a current SLSA IRB Crew Person Certificate Award

+10hours of crewing experience evidenced by a log
