A Thank You from the Ross Family
Dear Newport SLC, Yesterday around noon (11 April 2010), Catherine, a NSLC patrol member, assisted my 17 year old daughter Eddie who had fallen off her surf board in shallow water and hurt her wrist. Supported by Ian and a team of several including her sons, Catherine provided very sensitive and effective assistance. After x-rays this morning Eddie’s wrist has been placed in a cemi cast for treatment of what appears to be a greenstick fracture. The diagnosis will be reviewed by an orthopaedic surgeon on Friday.
Our family would like to thank Catherine, Ian and the team who provided assistance to Eddie. Although disappointed with Eddie’s injury, we were left with a very favourable impression of Newport SLC and its beach patrol. We’ll be back in 6 weeks if not before.
Best wishes, David
